
So, I haven’t posted on here in a minute and I feel bad about it! I was supposed to go work out and then upload pics from those workouts. Welllll…. From the lack of posting you can pretty much tell what happened. I only went to the gym campus once and did 3.5 miles on the elliptical. I Loved every minute of that workout, But I know I need to be moving and burning calories a minimum of 5 times each week. I even slacked up on my diet… I won’t spell out what I ate, just know I haven’t cooked in about 2 weeks until last night. The only good thing I did was completely avoid my mom’s house for the Super bowl because she had hot wings, rotel, deviled eggs, and banana pudding. That would have been a COMPLETE FAIL! One of my BFFs even called me and told me not to give in to temptation. I told him I had no intention to. I cooked brocolli, sweet potatoes and chicken breast for dinner. And it was pretty good if I must say so myself.
One thing I can say that I am pretty consistent about is my office breakfast. I make sure to have my green tea and and something simple to eat like oats, fruit, or granola. I haven’t been to the campus cafeteria and buying Chik-fil-A or Pizza, so that’s always a good thing. But when I get home late at 8 I just don’t like to be bothered with cooking. So, I it’s either leftovers or buying some crap fast food that I don’t need. One thing that really works for me is the fact that Whole Foods is right by campus and I can run in there when I leave class at night and get something good to eat. My weight has been fluctuating between 231 and 235… I think by this time next week I’ll be in the 220s.
OOOOH… I also placed my order for my Power 90 Master Series Workout!!! WOOO HOOO! I can’t do a damn pull up so p90x is out until I lose some of this blubber and can lift my weight. I can’t wait to let Tony Horton kick my butt. I looked into and I didn’t like the bad reviews that Tracy Anderson was getting on her Metamorphosis dvds. Apparently, she doesn’t give instructions, doesn’t focus on proper form, and her diet has people existing on 700 calories… NO BUENO!
