So, While I’ve been looking for posts about exactly it is I should be eating, I’ve come to the conclusion that the Cleaner I eat, the better off I will be! what do I mean by clean eating? I mean that by eating things that are unprocessed, free of chemicals and closest to natural and organic as possible is ideal. I know this to be clean eating from BlackGirl’sGuideToWeightloss.com. Her clean eating boot camp in conjunction with my power 90 master series should be interesting and HIGHLY Effective for my weightloss ambitions.
I came across the paleo diet on the fitness boards and it sounded strangely similar to clean eating. However, the Paleo diet makes some pretty radical claims AGAINST dairy and grains.

I’m sitting here pondering if these things are true. I hadn’t considered that I am biologically similar to people that existed thousands of years ago. They claim the hunter gatherer diet didn’t include dairy, and that no other adult animal in the animal kingdom drinks milk past infancy. Interesting right….
I for one love oatmeal, but I’ve come to learn recently that there are no true whole grains in the American diet with the exception of steel cut oats. All that instant oatmeal and wheat bread misleads us into thinking we are getting true whole grains. Don’t get me wrong, it’s better than the refined white stuff, but still, it’s not that much better.
I’ll keep researching.
