So, After having my Power 90 Master Series for almost 2 weeks now, I finally burst those babies out and had my way with them! At first, I was really excited to work with them and couldn’t wait to get them and start the program immediately. But then, Life happened. I had an entire week of being on campus all day and then not getting home until 9 at night. So, yes, I fell off. I fell off hard. But it’s the same ole story isn’t it? Fat girl whines about weight, Fat girl gets fed up, Fat girls vows to work out, Fat girl won’t commit or lets something derail her progress :( And then, with being gone so long, I never want to cook when I get home! So, that terrible fast food starts looking real good to ya girl. I hang my head in shame at the dbl bacon deluxe Wendy’s medium combos I ordered. And medium is clearly like a large or even an XL at Wendy’s. Let’s not pretend. The snickers, the fruit punch, the lemonade.. all of them crept back into my house. I feel a sense of disgust.
But, there is hope! I feel a sense of wonderful joy after just completing my first p90 Master’s workout. I’ll give it my all this next week. I thought it would be harder than it was since it’s often touted as the p90x precursor. We shall see though! Sweat 5-6 was about 30 minutes of good ole fashioned Cardio that made me sweat. Tony Horton was adamant about proper form and included water breaks. He also included a nice timer at the bottom of the screen which I really enjoyed! Off to cook up some healthy low-carb meal and then lounge around for a little while! Happy President’s day folks!
